1. DO I TAKE WALK IN APPOINTMENTS?
No walk ins, just booked appointments, thank you.
2. HOW DO I BOOK AN APPOINTMENT?
**Closed until September 2020. (I book through email or through this website when open)
3. WHAT'S A CONSULTATION FOR?
A consultation gives you a chance to meet me, discuss your tattoo idea and show reference materials. It also gives me a chance to meet you, listen to your design idea and decide whether I offer you an appointment time.
4 HOW MUCH DOES A TATTOO COST?
This depends on the size, complexity and how well you "sit" while being tattooed.
5. WHAT FORM OF PAYMENT DO I ACCEPT?
I prefer cash only ~ but will accept an e-transfer if it is done onsite and is received while you are still at the studio. The deposit can be paid by cash or e-transfer. Upon receipt of the deposit the appointment date/time will be held for you.
6. CAN I ASK FOR A QUOTE OVER THE PHONE OR VIA EMAIL?
~ No.
Quotes are difficult as there are many factors involved; how well you can sit for a tattoo, how complex the tattoo design is, the amount of colours in the design....the list is long!
7. IS THERE A DEPOSIT FEE? WHAT ABOUT CANCELLATIONS?
Yes, a deposit is required in order to book an appointment.
Your deposit tells me you are serious about getting a tattoo and committing to the time needed.
If you cancel with less than 48 hours to your appointment time you forfeit your deposit. Deposits are non-refundable.
8. CAN I BRING A FRIEND TO WATCH?
~SORRY..... NO. The tattoo studio is small, and there isn't space for someone to sit while we work on your tattoo. This is regarding maintaining focus and ensuring health and safety protocols are maintained.
9. BOOKING TIMES....
I have reasonable shop hours during the summer months and in the fall/winter/spring months I have appointments in the afternoons/early evenings and weekends.
10. IS THERE A MINIMUM AGE?
You must be over the age of 18 (I.D. required).
1 1. ABOUT THE ARTWORK.....
I'm an artist! The best gift you can give yourself is to work with me to create a custom designed tattoo for you! (Trust me on this one!)
1 2. TATTOO SIZE....
Thinking of a tiny tattoo? Something to consider is that tiny writing.....for example, if you get script with the letter e that 1/8th of an inch tall, in a surprisingly short time the ink will begin to move a little tiny bit and that e is going to close up and it's going to be a blob. If you want that script tattoo to last for 30-40 years you can't make it too small. Let it be nice and spacious!
1 3. CAN I SEE THE ARTWORK A WEEK OR TWO BEFORE THE TATTOO?
I am unable to provide final artwork prior to the session due to my busy schedule.
Trust that with proper prior consultation combined with your having taken the time to look at my previous work and drawings posted on this website you should be satisfied that I am the right person for the job. I'll make sure you have something that is amazing and ready for you on the day of your tattoo!
1 4. IS GETTING TATTOOED PAINFUL? DOES IT HURT?
Tattooing is not a pain free procedure.
Every person has different pain thresholds, most people will at the very least feel a mild irritation. Some areas are more painful than others (ribs, collar bone, upper under arm).
1 5. WHAT ABOUT AFTERCARE?
I will explain to you in detail the aftercare instructions at the end of your tattoo appointment.
Healing times vary from person to person with age and your over all health being factors along with your following the aftercare instructions provided. ~You have an important role to play in the healing success of your tattoo!
1 6. CAN I DRINK BEFORE MY APPOINTMENT? NO!

1 6. CAN I DRINK BEFORE MY APPOINTMENT? NO!
- People don't make the best decisions under the influence of drugs and alcohol.
- People are way more annoying when drunk or stoned.
- Drunk people do not sit still when they are getting tattooed, they do a lot more hand talking.
- People who have been drinking bleed slightly more than people who haven't been drinking. Granted you have to have been drinking for a while that day in order for it to affect the tattoo, but there is a chance you will bleed more, which means the blood will carry the ink out and you'll have an unevenly coloured or shaded tattoo. WHY RISK IT?
- The body goes through several stages when getting tattooed, including the release of adrenaline and endorphin's when you first start the tattoo. Most people handle the release quite well, and no adverse reactions occur. Some people can't handle the release, and that's why they pass out. Intoxicated people are less likely to handle the release, therefore more likely to pass out or throw up when the tattoo begins.
1 7. Other considerations before you get a tattoo:
- If you are pregnant or nursing, it's best to wait until you are no longer pregnant or nursing!
- Please arrive to the appointment "clean" ~ we are working in close proximity and there is nothing worse than not being able to see through the "fumes" of someone's "funk". Likewise for those that love strong perfumes or oils.... please wait until after your appointment to apply the scent.
- If you are ill, or are on antibiotics ~ reschedule!
- Tattoos requested for fingers, hands, feet..... consider how much wear and tear these body parts go through each day with everyday living. Tattoos either fade quickly on these areas or they are essentially "rubbed off" over time. Try to think of alternative zones for your tattoo idea.
